2iC Battlefield Interoperability Software
2iC delivers flexible battlefield interoperability which is fully complementary to existing battlefield systems, assets and capabilities.
2iC unlocks investment by enabling integration and coordination between independent systems that weren’t originally designed to work together.
Through a suite of off-the-shelf software products 2iC delivers the power of enterprise middleware software to lean challenging technical environments, such as the battlefield. The only previous option has been expensive and risky custom code.

2iC have created two innovative approaches to addressing systems interoperability, both are supported by software implementations:
- Lean Services Architecture (LSA) – Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) for lean technical environments.
- Decentralised Operating Procedures (DOP) – Procedural based flexible coordination to achieve tangible goals.
Using open standards, 2iC software tools connect previously disconnected systems on soldiers, vehicles and bases throughout the battlefield to increase operational, technical and commercial flexibility.
2iC has been proven with UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) through trials and adoption. The software itself is not restricted in usage and application has been identified in the Bluelight and energy sectors.
