2iC win the DSEI Innovation Award 2013

2iC are delighted to announce that in September 2013,  they won the DSEI Innovation Challenge. The prize was presented to 2iC by Lieutenant General Chris Deverell, Chief of Material (Land) in front of hundreds of attendees at the Land Theatre. The DSEI Innovation Challenge seeks the innovation, not yet in service, which is likely to make the biggest impact on defence and security.

The winning presentation described the 2iC cross-domain Tactical Service Bus project, which had demonstrated flexible and dynamic systems interoperability across security domains both within a vehicle and in support of coalition operations.

The success of this project is a significant step in informing the rapidly evolving Land Open Systems Architecture (LOSA) for British Land forces and the judges acknowledged the importance of this work for future interoperability for both UK forces and allies. See the information sheet here.
